Principal Beverage Consumer

A vacancy has arisen for a Principal Beverage Consumer to support the
drinking and gaming needs within public houses in the Bristol area. The
successful candidate will provide commercial and technical support to the
publicans within the Bristol area.

The main tasks of the role will be to prepare drinking sessions, raucous
songs and other standard bad behaviour; evaluate and process merits of each
individual session, and maintain a steady bridge hand. Liaison and effective
communication with the barman is also a vital part of this busy role.

The candidate should be self-confident and able to work both independently
and within a team environment and be able to demonstrate a capability to
efficiently and accurately get him (/her, no forget that)-self, and
colleagues steamed under any circumstances. A MSb (Master of Bantery) is
preferred, or, alternatively, you may have attained a level 6+ in top
trumps. You will display a good working knowledge of pub crawls, although
training will be provided.

Interviews will be held over a recruitment Easter weekend, with practical
tests to be expected.
